Roland PNC 3100 Conversion

Hi all !
I recently acquired at an auction a Roland PNC 3100 CAMM 3 , beautiful piece of engineering - I don't think I've ever seen something like this at this scale , chunky , sturdy parts made of cast aluminium , no expense spared , ball screws , rubber bellow couplings between the stepper motor and leadscrew , locknuts , high quality stepper sanyo denki steppers all around .
My end goal is to convert it to a ddcs controller.
For now , I have taken it apart
