Resonance can be a problem for mechanical machines.
I didn't know about Rubens' Tubes until today, but found this an interesting way to visualise resonance, and others might find it interesting as well . . . . . . .

Thanks Andy enjoyed watching this, its funny, when he lit the gas I was watching thinking to myself, that's cool you could do like a light & sound art show type of thing that doubles up as an example at the same time, then the music faded in...nice!
