Ideas for an upgrade build

Hi everyone I've just purchased one of these (https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid...00063881355248) and it needs upgrading to Mach3/4 i have a few new but never used parts lay around from another build that didn't happen, eg Ethernet smoothstepper, also a PLC4x-G2 breakout board and 3 x Leadshine EM806. Was just wondering should i use these parts or start again? the machine has (just roughly measured) 4 start 12mm or 1/2" pitch screws on X and Y which seem a bit coarse so not sure what motors to go with. at the moment they are Nema 23 bolt pitch. I will be mainly machining oak and the odd piece of aluminium. i dont have the machine in my hand at the moment its in storage till i sell some stuff to make room so the build will be over the next few months.
just looking for ideas for my shopping list.
