Introduction

Hi guys

Just a quick introduction from me!

I'm Dan from Sheffield

I set up a small business with my wife during lockdown that makes engraved wooden signs and artwork for the home and special occasions. We went all in on our business idea, rented and kitted out a workshop and bought an 8x4ft 3 axis CNC router

The business got off to a great start but owing to other business, life and family commitments has fallen a little by the wayside over the past 12 months, so I've made the decision to downscale it and for it it to become a side-hustle 'hobby' business and moving it to my garage at home, so I'm currently in the process of selling my 8x4ft machine to get something a quarter of the size.

My CNC experience is largely self taught but I seem to get by ok! I wouldn't say I'm a beginner but I'm no means I'm an expert and definitely always willing to learn and help others if I can.

I've joined to forum as a place I can come to learn more about CNCing in general, ask questions when I'm stuck with something, and to get recommendations for a new machine and help to sell my current one.
