Running 2 AXYZ from 1 USB
I want to run a 4010 and a 6010
Can I just use a DB9 switch to connect them both up and switch between them? I know I have to make my own cables already on it.
I have Toolpath now, I bought it and 1 USB ordered but 850 with Vat is not funny
Especially as Toolpath seems terrible but as long as it works with Fusion 360 and Vcarve it doesn't matter
Toolpath can control multiple machines
It never came with dnc.exe just a 9 meg download
Just worried hot swapping might damage the USB or AXYZ controller
But saving 545+vat would be nice
I only need to connect the machine to upload code right? Then I can disconnect it and connect to the other machine and repeat

There is no need for DNC if your controller works.It is only really justified if the controller is in poor order or if the file you are trying to run is enormous and would exceed the storage capacity of the controller.You use Toolpath to transmit the file and it might get interesting linking one computer to two machines.

Toolpath can do it according to AXYZ
I asked them, I did not ask them about using a switch lol as they want to sell the USB device so will say no even if it works
It's setup to run up to 8 machines he thought
But they don't know shit at AXYZ honestly
I have a noise one side, I think the belt tensioning spring on the Y on 1 side
AXYZ were no help lol except to tell me not carriages and not motor
But I noticed the spring is stretched the side making noise
So replace spring and take from there
It doesn't make the noise when homing
Only when using the MPG which moves quicker
