Newbie First Build

My first build?, I think it should be my first experiment. Why I started this is easy,I browsed a site - Get Ready To CNC and watched Patrick sawing away at a piece of mdf and actually building a machine!.I was hooked.

That was a year or so ago,but not knowing the slightest think about cnc I had a lot ofstudying to do. I came to the conclusion that if I could build a machine out of the offcuts I had,I could keep the costs down and use it as a learning / test bed to experiment with before moving on to a more substantial machine.
