I read an article by a chap who'd built a CNC plasma cutter, saw that he'd done it for about £200, and thought, and thought, and thought, and thought, then dropped in here.

Will an Ebay cheapo Chinese tb6560 board and some 13Kg 4wire steppers be enough to move a plasma cutter handset or a small router around on a 1.2 x 2.4m bed if I keep my friction loads down?
