Hi there. I am an architect thinking of starting a modelmaking business. I've always been pretty good at handmade architectural models, but many clients expect greater detail and increased accuracy - and there's a limit to what can be done with a craft knife! I am thinking of buying a table-mounted Heiz S-1000 to get started.
Hi Matt and welcome to the site. The idea of using CNC to do architectural models (and landscapes) has been discussed here before and there are a couple of members interested in the same thing. I'm sure they'll introduce themselves in due course..
