Howdy, folks

This board was linked from another, so I joined up. I'm in the US, amateur shop, small tools - Myford lathe, Clausing 8530 mill, South Bend shaper, that sort of thing. Not a modeler, but I make whatever I want, mostly to include tooling and machine modifications.

I did graduate from the USAF machinist's course in '69 and have had a shop of some size since my childhood. Since then, it's been physics, engineering and aviation. Retired now.

I don't plan to get into CNC, but there is much to learn from all the clue birds in other fields. Likely I won't post much, unless there is a question I think I can help with or one of my own.
