Lots of the mechanical bits looks like Boxford's... :-) This should be fun!

The Boxford and the Blomqvist are both copies of the South Bend. It is very similar to the boxford and I believe quite a few of the boxford parts will fit the Blomqvist as well.

I have done a bit of work on this mainly repainting at the moment. Quite a few parts have been undercoated but I have managed to get the enamel coat on the base and tray. The photos show the undercoat and one coat of enamel on the base.
A second coat of enamel has been applied but I dont have a photo at the moment.
My Centec 2A has arrived so I need to extract me finger and get this done so I can get started on the Centec.

I agree, dont own a lathe myself but would love a project like this that is "doable" to the end. Keep up the good work Goblin im also following with intrest, when i grow up i may also follow the same path rather than buy a modern unit :).

Most of the headstock has been refitted as is the tailstock.
Apron is back on but I am waiting on the paint to dry to get the rear support fitted and get it set up again.
