Z axis with Home/limit switch and Nema 23 3nm
The Z axis off my machine. Swapped out for a new Z with more travel as I'm looking at needing around 250mm for some of the work I have planned. This particular design offers approx 200mm travel.
Sturdy design with 18mm thick backplate and 20mm ecocast front plate which gives a perfectly flat surface for the spindle mount and rails. 16mm supported linear rails are used. Fitted with Nema 23 3nm motor, home switch and ballnut mounts for the Z and Y axis. No Z ballscrew but was fitted with a RM1605.
Originally designed for Hiwin EGW-15 slides but could be easily modified to whatever you have in mind by drilling out suitable holes in the backplate. Two sets of spindle mounting holes to either the chinese 2.2kw mount or this Spindle Mount LRG CNC Kress, DeWalt Bosch using ID 43mm Kress mount.
Can post but very heavy and will need a lot of packing. Pick up preferred (Chesterfield).
£60ono
Here's a video of it running when it was my machine:
