Inkscape and gcodetools Help required

I have posted the downloaded file (gcodetools.tar.gz) into the prgrm/inkscape/share/extensions folder.
On reloading inkscape the gcodetools do not appear on the extensions drop down menu.

This file are zipped and you need to unzip them first
