Intro and hello from new member

Hi All,

Another new member hello.

I am new to the CNC arena, but curious to learn and keen to start building.

I come from an electrical and mechanical engineering background (12 years on the tools) and more recently find myself in the IT field, managing corporate IT infrastructure and networks. I guess you can take the man out the workshop but not the workshop out of the man. I still keep my home shop running with hobby builds and projects always on the go. I am looking at a plasma table as my first build.

The table build would be as much a project as anything that it subsequently allowed me to create. The fun is in the journey, not just reaching the destination.

So, that is a little about me, I will get on with some reading and hopefully post a bunch of questions when I find something I do not understand.
