Should i use a engraving cutter for this job?

Hi, I've attached a little .dxf file of an imaginary job that I've been practicing with, cutting it to about 0.5mm.
I get very clean results on it using a 6mm engraving cutter in the preview of vcarve pro (no CNC machine to test it on yet- I'm getting one made by a prominent contributor on this forum).
I'm worried that it's not the best tool for the job, in terms of efficiency- according to vcarve pro the job will take some time using this tool (no idea if the estimated time is anything like accurate though), and I'm concerned it might wear the engraving cutter out unduly quickly on just making 5 of the samples.dfx, not to mention the electricity!
Should I be looking at something else?
