Hello from Worcestershire

Hi Folks

Well, after dipping into the site for a couple of months, I finally decided I should register.

I am currently in the process of building a cnc machine and have assembled most of the bits.

Just a small affair to start with for the "Mark 1", mainly built of ply with a table size of around 300mm square. If I can make a go of it, will probably have a go at building a larger aluminium model next.

I started off with a desire to renew my old woodworking hobby after my son reignited my enthusiasm when he started woodworking classes, and this combined with some rather excellent looking wooden clocks (which my eyes are no longer good enough and my hands no longer steady enough to cut by hand) led me down the cnc route.

Maybe a bit ambitious - dunno
