Elliott 00 onmimill

I've just got an Elliott 00 Omnimill, an old machine, but it's all nice and tight and looks like it's about 5 years old instead of 40 years old!

I'm thinking of doing a CNC conversion and wondered if anyone has done one here? (Nothing found so far...)

The Warco mills are of similar design so the conversions of those might be a good place to start.

Looks like Z axis on the quill instead of the (very heavy) knee is a good idea if i can live with 90mm of z travel.

So if anyone has done one successfully or unsuccessfully, let me know!
