Hybrid Stepper Servo

Anybody knows if the new similar to Leadshine closed loop steppers and drives are same, copy or just ok? What i know of from Fred /BST is that the Leadshine don't produce the motors/at least the servo motors/ so they buy them from other factory anyway.
They are a bit cheaper, and normally it would not matter but i have to buy 6 at least, so...
