Hello everyone.
I am looking to set up a small unit in my garage and looking for a small CNC machine to make prototypes from upto 6mm acrylic.
The maximum size i will be working from is 400 x 400mm. Just need something that can cut out some shapes from a flat sheet and drill holes.

SHYMAN, If you really never need to cut anything harder than plastics, then take a look at the '6040' range on ebay. I have a friend who has one of these tearing through abs box panels and he loves it. Its horses for courses, one of these machines may well do what you need it to do, but would fall down on heavier machine tasks.
