Hi I'm using a akz250 3 axis one at the moment and it works without problems. I've heard some people complaining about the reliability of usb motion controllers in general but I have not run very long jobs so I can't comment on that. I have cut jobs of at least 30 mins without any issues which is about as long as I'll ever run as I break big jobs into smaller ones in case I have to stop and rerun something.
Overall I'm happy with the card, it was easy to set up and it it does exactly what its supposed to. My as idea was to get started using this and then upgrade to something better but at this point I can't see any good reason to upgrade to something more expensive.
Only issue I have is that I sometimes get a "sync lost" message in mach3 when jogging. Have not really spend a lot of time to figure out what it actually means but it does not appear to affect anything.
I have 1 e-cut board, works without any problem, my steppers drivers are DQ860MA and the machine is much better in comparison to parallel port. The setup is easy. My machine use rack and pinion with opposite steppers.
hi, I use one of these cards.
It works very well and is very stable, easy to set up.
In my case completely changed my machine, now this faster, smoother and quieter (I use rack and pinion)
the cnc router that I use at work will now also use an e-cut because the original board sometimes crash.
my configuration is
HP DV5000 computer
e-CUT cnc board
DQ860MA from longmotors

yes I already have a akx250 leafboy77 card
this runs steppers at 5v with 5v for limits, no spindle control.
I have just bought some 200w Panasonic servo motors and drivers
the step and direction will stay 5v from usb power
BUT I think I need 24v from this card to connect limits to servo drives
LOOKING at this card, it APPEARS 'like' its a later version of the 77
it was certainly released after the lb77
its the I/o at 24v that I need for servos I think

you need have feedback from the spindle.
i have my spindle conected by rs485 but i only controll RPM.
How did you do it. I dont know what more i need to buy, or how to connect. Can you please tell me how you did it

The Sieg KX series machines use the leafboy card and have done for quite a while.
We have never had to change a card under warrenty.
Spindle is controlled from Mach3 by step and direction and the follow in is pretty good. No one expects to have the screen display the revs to plus or minus 1.
These have a brushless motor and spindle board and so are slightly different from a VFD but we have fitted quite a few second high speed spindles to these machines using a range of VFD's including the Chinese ones.
Again no problems in setting up if you follow the documentation.

This one is in front of the spindle because it's designed for 2nd opp work on a 4th axis and putting it at the side will mean both spindles are on the same centre line and get in the way.

i use rs485 because if the usb board die i can easily back to parallel and have control on spindle by without big changes...
