16 holes machined to accomodate M5 cap bolts - not threaded, with cap sunk under surface of material.

19 additional holes drilled/machined and tapped to take a M6 bolt

(Background, this is a first attempt to mount a replacement spindle onto the Z-column on a StarMill machine... I would attempt this, except the size is rather too large to work on the StarMill as a single operation)
