SZGH1000TDb controller set up on bench with their hybrid stepper drivers 2HSS57 and motors 86BYGH4118ec-1000.
1. Motors both work + and - direction using the panel buttons but when i press the hand wheel button which hands control to the pendant, it will only operate + increments?
2. How do i cancel the pendant handwheel to reuse the XY buttons +/-, on the panel, apart from rebooting.
3. The panel hand wheel does not operate the motors, only the buttons.
I can get it to hand back control to the panel buttons by pressing the step button but only as steps.
Any ideas please.
Answers from Mike at SZGH, i thought i would post his reply to each question to reduce head scratching.
1. Only have one handwheel connected at one time.
Remove pendant handwheel
set P27 in other parameters from1 to 0
How: press parameter, press F5 other parameter, arrows up/down to 27, press enter, change to zero, press enter, press escape.
2. When the remote pendant is removed 'emergency stop' is highlighted on the panel. To remove this and allow the panel pendant to be used:
If handwheel on panel is set to P=1 in other parameters it must be set to P=0
Then press handwheel key again to shift rate.
IE
Press 'parameter' on panel
F5 (other parameter)
Item 1 is selected, if not use up down buttons to select P1.
Change to zero (press 0 and enter)
Press escape
Press handwheel button.
Panel handwheel is now in control.
The axis that is flashing (in my case 'x' or 'z') is the axis that the handwheel has selected.
To change axis press the 'step' button and the other axis will flash.
Hope this helps, like most things it is easy when you know how.
Setting SZGH-CNC1000TDb slide movements.
In the case of my SZGH CNC1000TDb it uses: set P16 on User parameters, diameter or radius programming.
The stepper pulses need to be matched at 10,000 on the stepper drive and in Axis Parameter No.17 Numerator of X Electron gear also set to 10,000.
I will set the No18 moved distance in diameter (P16) and see if that is correct.
The F1 user set p16 was default (0) diameter programming, so cross slide movement should be half readout.
