Either send a pwm signal from a ucbb output- then put this signal into a pwm to analog converter- then that goes into vfd.

Or do what I've done. An idc16 cable from analog port on uc300 into an idc16 pin terminal breakout block. Then connect this to vd avi/gnd and use the uc300 analog port for control in uccnc.
