Thanks for the further input guys...the stepper driver did not blow at 12volts , 1.2 amps,,,,
it happened as i was using 24 volts and going up through the amp settings....
and yes irving 2008, that is what i am using....and i thought buying big stepper motors was better than buying Nema23/24s and then finding out they did not have the power

Common mistake many people make but you still haven't answerd what your trying to do with them.?

I will be using them to make a cnc wood router....around 2 x 3ft table size
I used the same size to convert my mill drill and raglan lathe to cnc, but I sold these a while back...

Well sorry to say this but your wasting your time then.! Those drives will never power nema34 motors to give the speed you'll require for a decent router.
Even with nema 23 motors they will struggle to give good reliable performance but with those motors forget it.!
