Well it's definitely a ball screw/ball nut which should be better than a leadscrew/trapezoidal nut. However it does seem a bit cheap, I bought some of roughly similar dimensions from BST (known good vendor on here) a year or 2 back and they were a lot more than that. You might get lucky or you might need to buy 5 to get one good one. In the end if you're trying to make an accurate, quality machine you need decent parts, no way round that.

Hello, Found a similar add on Amazon, with availability (typed in SFU1605)- do we think it's just for the nut- seems far to good to be true?

They are a fiver when they are out of stock, but £55 when they are back in stock (probably:suspicion:).
I really hate these posts that advertise something for a stupidly small price, but then pile on the postage to bring it up to a norml price. It means you can only claim the goods amount if there is a problem.
Another thing that T's me off is the eBay trick of advertising (for example) cutting mats in all sizes A1 to A5, but everything but A4 is out of stock.
Yet another irritation is eBay postings from (say) 99p for something worth much more and finding the actual article advertised is really expensive and the 99p is for a spare circlip type of thing.
Maybe I am just getting old and grumpy....

This looks similar, same price. Sounds a bit dodgy to me "£4.89 with free delivery". Really?

Haha it says "max speed 16000rpm". Good luck with that!
