Rack & Pinion Gearbox/Gearing

Hi Forum,

Thought some of you might be interested in some 3:1 belt reduction gear boxes I've been working on.

Let me know your thoughts/comments :)

Its for nema 34 motors, if anyway wants the drawings & parts list let me know.

Great job, really like the gantry ends design, might look at something similar for my plasma table, cracking table you are building there well done.

I am also interested in a build thread as I intend to use a rack and pinion style design as well, mine will be a mino in comparison as I only have small 2 amp with max 44v drivers but they were only £4 each.

Did you start the thread? Really keen to see this machine.

Hi Guys,

Sorry I've not posted a build log yet I've been side lined with a boat restoration project... trying to get it ready for summer so have been devoting most of my free time to that, however the snow makes me think its not quite as urgent as I thought .... I'll try and get a log up this weekend!
