Hello,
Decided to take the plunge and started my Rockcliff build.
Changed a couple of things in the design slightly to try and add some
strenght and stability to the machine.
Have loaded a few photos in the Photos section. (Where else!!)
I haven't bought them yet, but have decided to use 20mm rails and
Oilite bearings. Along with Trapezoidal leadscrews and Delrin nuts
(hope to make these myslef).
Probably get the steppers and drivers from Motion Control Products.
Will update as it goes!

Still sourcing a few parts, so not much buolding lately.
Have however, built up the control unit from an old PC case and tested the motors..........it Works!!!!!!

Good to see it works I'm coming up to that stage now for mine, so its reassuring to see my idea will/is working.
