Try cleaning the commutator up, and see what happens.
Have you been aware of the motor running hot?
It could be a sign of the drive itself failing, as it shouldn't be putting out enough power to cook the motor, and the blowing fuses can be caused by a faulty drive.
If possible hook up an ammeter so you can see how much current the motor is using, and one so you can see how much the drive is using.Avoiding the rubbish customer service from AluminiumWarehouse since July '13.
