Gluing Acrylic

Before this H&S insanity every living room in the country had a record deck with a smoky acrylic cover glued together with chloroform. :

Some of us had separates that were decent kit though ;-)

Ha - the joints on my smoky acrylic record deck cover were totally invisible as well. But that's because the cover was vacuum formed in one piece.
It wasn't unbreakable though - wish I'd had some Chloroform then. :)
