Servos i like just for the pure pleasure of watching them move fast and silently. I could stand an hour watching my machine doing ultra fast high speed machining just cutting the air... Its just pure joy watching 200kg gantry accelerate, in fact its quite unsettling sometimes and my hair raises when i run a slow program and when program finishes and machine go to 0 with astonishing speed. For sure wakes me up.

    Hi,
does anyone have experience with HSS86 and/or 2HSS86H drivers?
    http://www.jss-motor.com/product/nem...nd-driver.html
    http://www.jmc-motor.com/products.php?cid=225&id=157
Is there a tuning software available for these drivers?
How is the overall quality of these drivers and motors?
    Thanks.

    Hello

ive got these as a full setup on my router. bought from Zappautomation and i have never had a problem with them except 2 driver bards burning out but that was my fault with the wiring.

Once i put right board to right power supply all has been faultless and that will be around 5 yrs ago.

i recommend them no problem. Expensive and closed loop but you get what you pay for.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

Thank you for your answer! I have found out in the meantime, that these two types are quite different. The HSS86 is made by JSS, the 2HSS86H is made by a different company - JMC. Which brand did you have, JSS or JMC?
