What machine is this for?
I also have access to bespoke ballscrew grinders so may be able to assist in the design.
Stock screws C5 screws will come with 0 or slight backlash but for milling applications you need preloaded to at least the expected endmill sideload plus the inertia of the moving part.https://emvioeng.com
