    Take any 2 wires from the 4 and cross them together and try and turn the motor shaft. When you feel resistance you have a matched pair. (The stepper's are working as a generator)

    Then wire 2 pairs next to each other in the 4 pin connector.

    Try it if the motor's run the wrong way either swap the wires around or change the setting in the firmware to invert axis.
