Thread: Larger Open CNC Design

The open build type CNC machines generally use substandard slides (Normally V wheels on extrusion) these are poor for small routers for a large router they are pointless.
Personally I designed my own router and I see nearly everyone who's building there own designed it themselves, we are always happy to critique design. I doubt anyone would build a cnc machine from someone else's plans without seeing a working router first not to diss your cad skills but just my view.http://www.mycncuk.com/threads/10880...60cm-work-area My first CNC build WIP 120cm*80cm
If you didn't buy it from China the company you bought it from did ;)
