So design your base so that the two rails which must be in the horizontal plane bolt to it!
Hey Presto!
No machining!
No Epoxy!
If you pay for fuel I'll provide use of my Optical Clinometer which is good for ridiculous tolerance when you level the feet for the base and then set the rails.You think that's too expensive? You're not a Model Engineer are you? :D
