Good morning,
After visiting (the very knowledgable and welcoming) Clive over the weekend to see his CNC machines, and to discuss my own requirements, I have come to the conclusion that I may be out of my depth with self-building!
I'm confident enough in finding/creating a suitable design, as well as purchasing the necessary components, but physically building the frame, drilling the holes accurately, attaching the guide rails and screws, mounting the gantry, and having everything aligned perfectly, etc, doesn't excite me very much.
So, is there anyone out there, preferably based in North West, who would be interested in creating a frame and gantry for a CNC machine for me? I would like the size to be approx 800mm x 500mm, with a decent z-axis range.
If anyone would like to contact me with a quote, then please do so. I'm ready to get going ASAP.
Many thanks in advance
