Right it was time to test my machine, so I made 4 bearing blocks out of 10mm BMS (bright mild steel) ran the speed at 120mm per minuet at 1mm depth of cut spindle runs at3750 rpm using a 6mm roughing end mill.

results were some pulling on rads with some vibration on top spindle bearing, but the worst fault is due to the rubber spindle drive which sets up vibration due to the increased load when tips of cutter strike the work pice.

but all in all a very sucessfull test
