    the markings seam to be smudged and in unreadable, I don't suppose anyone else has another vfd open that they could see if there's has a clear number on it?

    been diging around more and found this video on youtube I'm not to sure what it all means but looks very similar ???

    Which would suggest a 2SK1120 - a N-channel MOSFET designed for DC-DC convertors and motor drives - sounds pretty appropriate

    That wirewound resistor nearby looks like it's been pretty hot.
