Hi.
I am Coly, from Birmingham.
I am starting to do my 4 axis CNC router and I found in this forum a lot of useful information.
My CNC machine it is small, 150x250x100mm working superfice and I will use for engraving in brass, silver.
I want the maximum rigidity and precision, not speed.
I use hiwin original HGH20CA-ZOH in all axis, aluminium 25mm 6082 and steel plate 300x200x25mm for X axis, aluminium 7075 for Y and Z axis
The mechanical construction it is between Y and Z axis in this moment.
I am planing to use samsung 200w servomotors, THK 2mm lead ballscrews and Teknomotor hf 0,27KW, 24000Rpm as spindle.
Is not clear if I will use CPU5B for my 4 axis (starting with 3 first).
