vfd query about the program settings for XSY-AT1 and air cooled spindle

I'll never understand why people keep buying these chinese VFD's that noone's ever heard of, and then ask how to set them up???

I suspect the reason is that, like many people, They're Cheap! :D

But they're not any cheaper than a Huanyang, and in many cases, people pay more for them.

I've stuck with the big 1st world names with brilliant documentation for 20 years, as I put a positive value on my time I figure I'm well ahead of the game ;-)

I bought it because its dimensional height meant it would fit in my control box. It has a manual (of sorts) Here’s a scanned page with some of the key perameters to set.

If the Huanyang would fit in my control box I would have bought one.

From the looks of that you need to set
Maximum Operating to 400 and
Minimum Operating to the correct percentage of 400 to give your spindle's rated minimum speed.
Reference Speed to 400 and
Intermediate Speed to halfway between 400 and minimum rated speed
