I noticed today on helix fine feed the motor is jumping back, the program is reading movement but after slight movement its actually jumping like its skipping.

Absolutely fine on plunge but helix is making it not move. I can see it count down. But had to manually follow it with the hand wheel. Eventually edited the cam to plug and could set and forget.

Is it a motor problem or stepper problem?
