I’ve decided to put my novamill up for sale.
It is 95% complete, lost interest and looking for a new project
Machine in good condition previously from a school.
Virtually no wear and tear as I don’t think it has seen much use.
Chip enclosure still intact
New electronics cabinet
New controller interface
Integrated 12v mini itx atom 2gb ram pc with 80gb sata hd linuxcnc installed
Mesa electronics 5i25+7i76
Wired mpg
Parker 508 spindle controller
Digital stepper drives
40v toroidal psu
24v, 12v + 5v psu’s
Storm 2230 keyboard
17” Touch screen monitor
Tooling/collets (iso 30)
Optimum work height Wheelie bench with 2 braked castors heavy duty
As you can see from the pictures I’ve spent countless hours machining parts and designing, sourcing and building the electronics to bring this tidy little machine up to date. I didn’t like the look of the keyboard(pictured) so now there is a storm 2230 stainless IP rated unit to be installed in the operator interface enclosure.
I’ve left room in the electronics enclosure to add the necessary components for a 4th axis.
All of the work and machining is more or less done. £2200 Ono
