Thread: CNC pneumatic bench clamp

Just finished building and testing a pneumatic clamp for holding stone slabs on my cnc bed and I surprised myself. I built it from off cuts of engineering aluminium and carried out all the milling and hole cutting on my cnc. I got to say once clamped you cannot move the material in the jaws much better than bolts and flanges and it does not damage the contact edges of the material when switched on.
It can hold quite a lot of weight and squares the material on the X,Y axis with little adjustment.
I hope you get the pics
