I have been building hifi turntables / pickup arms using a small bench mill and a Warco GH550 lathe for some years now, but would like to be able to machine more complex plinths from acrylic, and would like to be able to produce consistent and repeatable small parts from aluminium.
The maximum plinth size I expect to build would be around 500 x 400 x 50 so bed size suitable for this.
I'm looking for recommendations for machines capable of the above from the assembled experts!
