    Depth that you place the object at is in the toolpath control section. best bet is go watch the Aspire videos as they do a very good job of explaining it. If you don't get a good grasp of it there, I would go on the vectric forum and ask there as you will get a much better explanation from the folks there. I use Aspire9.5 and while I am good at using it i am not the greatest at teaching it.
