    Welcome to the forum ChunkyMunky.
Don't buy anything just yet, have a look through some of the build logs first, there's loads of ideas in them. There are a few guys on the forum that have a similar interest to yourself, check out washouts threads.

As i recollect the guys have files for a Fender that they are willing to share.
Enjoy the forum and good luck on you journey into CNC.
    Regards
    Mike

    Welcome to the forum.

I couldn't get Washout's videos to play on this site but he has the following link to his youtube channel which is full of goodies for cnc guitar builders. Thanks to mekanik for that.

My own attempt at a guitar isn't quite as flash but it's still fun to play.

The cnc machine in the video is now just a memory (with the exception of the computer, breakout boards and microswitches you can see!). I'd like to build a rip-off of the Kiesel ZA6 headless guitar with the new improved machine but have to finish a few other projects before I start on that one.

Be warned, this cnc stuff is addictive. You just can't stop finding new things to make with it.

An optimist says the glass is half full, a pessimist says the glass is half empty, an engineer says you're using the wrong sized glass.
