No, don't be so cheap, buy decent equipment from a reputable supplier and first be sure that they really do support their hardware, and with what Mach3 Version(s) - that will never happen with cheap shit direct from China.

Whilst Mach3 is basically an Orphan there are stable versions which just work just fine with various bits of hardware, don't let some jerk with a Hobby Horse dissuade you from it, it does a decent job of full synchronous 4-Axis, even through a Parallel Port, up until this year I made some seriously complex and tiny parts on an ex-educational desktop mill with Mach3. I bought a 3 phase 4-Axis VMC with tool changer and a Siemens controller this year and a friend persuaded me to sell him my old 4-axis system as it does more than he needs

If rejecting Mach3 do consider that Stand Alone Controllers are now a reasonably priced option and will free you from having a PC running the show, or you could go Linux if you have the time to invest in a system developed by a committee of non-machinists! :D
