how do you calibrate a cnc lathe axis

hi chaps, how do you calibrate the x axis of a cnc lathe using mach3 turn. is there a system like there is for setting the steps like mach3 mill. if not how do you do it. thanks,

The same as any other axis.
Either by calculation, or test/measure/adjust/repeat.

hi, thanks for getting back, the thing is that mach3 turn does not have the set calibration as mach3 mill. so have can it be the same.

The calibration is essentially the test/measure/adjust/repeat option I mentioned.
If you want to use the calibration tool, just load the mill screenset, do the calibration, then switch back to the turn screenset.
