I Have an old Denford Starturn 4 which has been converted to Mach3.
I am currently using it to learn CNC machining. I am also using Fusion 360 but am not able to find a post processor within the program. Has anybody got any advice for what I could use.
I am strictly at the novice stage and so any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Dave

Start with Fanuc, Mach3 is very close to a plain vanilla Fanuc controller.
You think that's too expensive? You're not a Model Engineer are you? :D

If you go to https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts you can download the Mach 3 post for fusion

Thanks I'll give it a try later today hopefully. ( Plain Vanilla ) means absolutely nothing to me ???
Me thinks this CNC will be a long and bumpy road.

Thanks John I've just had a look and found the post processor. I am using an apple computer and so It will not allow me to open the file but that is a new problem. At least I now know there is one and where to find it.
Many thanks
