If it's only going in one direction with either keypress on just one axis then it's usually 99% of the time a Bad Connection on the Direction Pin. It's certainly the first place to look.
If it's doing this on more than one axis then I'd look at the Keyboard first and just replace it.
After this, it starts getting a bit more into the unknown and could be anything from bad connection/broken wire to controller or drive on it's way out.?? . . . . More info would be needed to advise properly.Last edited by JAZZCNC; 19-09-2019 at 06:36 PM.

On my 3dD printer, there is one cable that connects a stepper that moves a lot, I have changed it twice in the lifetime of the printer as a cable intermittent break causes it to be biased in one direction. The same has happened on the Z axis of my CNC router and that was also a break in one conductor of the stepper cable.
