Lasercut 5.3 closes down on import or open file ???

Hi All
I am running Lasercut 5.3 and after being given great advice on here to fix my machine I decided to do a cut on my Redsail machine.
Using 2D Design I exported a DXF file and opened Lasercut 5.3 software.
As soon as I click on import file, the software closes down same happens if I click open file.
Anyone got any ideas why this is happening ? I have deleted and reinstalled the software several times.

Hi Dave, did you get to the bottom of this ? if so what was the fix ?

Hi,
I was running the software on an CO laptop and started playing with the compatibility of the software for my system. The fix in the end was to turn off all the comparability options and it worked no download issues at all it seemed to find it's own route to download after that.
