Startrite SD25/1 Bench Drill +Table

Hi

I am new here and seeking some assistance regarding the table fitting to my SD25/1 bench drill

I recently moved my workshop, but due to breaking my leg, my friend assisted and moved the heavier items.

One of these was my Startrite bench drill, and due to its weight, my friend chose to disassemble it and reassembled it at my new workshop

However, somehow, he managed to lose a part in the table that allows the drill table to be clamped to the pillar.

Unlike other bench/drill tables secured with a external split collar clamp tightening around the pillar, this has a sold collar, and a simple screw in lever that always worked well. Now the table cannot be secured to the column, rendering it useless to use.

When tightening the lever, it tightens fully, but the collar no longer tightens around the column.

My friend is adamant nothing was missing, but admits that if it was a small part it could have fallen on the grass area where he took it off the pillar.

Can you advise if you can assist with what may be the problem, or what part maybe missing, or maybe put me in contact with a person or company who may be able to help
